Our hours are 10.00 to 18.00 on Monday, 09.00 to 18.00 on Tuesday, 10.00 to 18.00 on Wednesday, 09.00 to 19.00 on Thursday, 09.00 to 18.00 on Friday and on Saturday, and 12.00 to 17.00 on Sunday.

We now have a licence and offer some organic wines and beers both in the cafe and the shop.

One of Entrading's directors, James Curran, is the elected chair of the Scottish Sustainable Development Forum and is also serving on the Zero Waste Think Tank for Scotland.

We believe we were the first shop in the UK to offer a carbon offset voucher (please tell us if we're not). In collaboration with Carbon Passport we offer standard £10 vouchers, enough for example to offset a return flight Glasgow to Paris. It cancels a credit under the Clean Development Mechanism regulated by the United Nations. The money is used to fund carbon-saving projects in the developing world.

We use our own vouchers to ensure that any deliveries we make to our own customers are carbon-neutral.

A small exhibition of some furniture made from reused materials, created by Wasted Design has just closed - but we will be arranging more exhibits soon.

We have on show a few clocks made by students at Glasgow's Hillhead High School using scrap wood provided by local joiner/shopfitter Elmwood; these are for sale.
